Recycle Livingston has been Livingston County’s only nonprofit recycling center since 1989. They are committed to reducing the amount of solid waste in our local landfills.
Currently, Recycle Livingston is headquartered in a rundown, used, 1980s trailer and they are in desperate need of a new facility. They are in the process of fundraising for a new building and the Kellogg Family Foundation is doing a dollar-for-dollar match of funds raised for this initiative. Recycle Livingston plans on using the funds raised to build their new space, expand their programming, and establish a classroom. This nonprofit has been a crucial part of the Livingston County community for over 30 years! The Kellogg Family Foundation hopes they reach their fundraising goal so that they can get the building they deserve and help the community even more.
Stay tuned for updates on Recycle Livingston’s progress and, if you can, please donate to their cause! Every dollar helps and remember: the Foundation will match your donation(s) dollar-for-dollar. You can donate online or in person at 170 Catrell Street in Howell, Michigan If you are unable to donate at this time, that’s okay, you can still help. Just share this with your friends and family! Spreading awareness of this fundraiser is just as helpful to Recycle Livingston’s cause as your donations.
