Operation Injured Soldiers
Operation Injured Soldiers is a non-profit organization in South Lyon, Michigan that aims to provide recreation opportunities to wounded military veterans of all eras as a “thank you” for their service, and also aid in the recovery of injuries sustained during deployments. The organization provides events and locations where disabled veterans from all wars can enjoy the camaraderie of others.
The Kellogg Family Foundation partnered with Operation Injured Soldiers to support additions to the Brave Hearts Estate. The Brave Hearts Estate is a 238-acre ranch that serves as a retreat destination for veterans and their families and includes an archery range, sporting clays, hiking and biking trails, fishing and boating, and more. The Foundation’s funding will support the addition of gazebos on the hiking and biking trails.
The Brave Hearts Estate offers completely free lodging for our veterans and their families.
