Free Dental Day

Free Dental Day brings together dentists, doctors, hygienists, assistants, nurses, and volunteers to provide free cleanings, fillings, and extractions for people without dental insurance who can- not afford the care they need.
The fun, annual event is complete with music, dancing, and a bouncy house for kids. Community donations provide food and prizes. Area churches and social organizations also help: free breakfast and lunch are served by Love INC and Livingston County Veterans.
Each year our efforts grow. We treat an average of 150 patients, an effort requiring over 60 volunteers.
A dental problem can keep someone from leaving their house, unable to work or socialize. Over the years, our screenings have identified life-threatening, health issues such as morbid blood pressure and dangerously uncontrolled diabetes. These patients were personally escorted to our hospital next door, taking the next step toward better health.
